The Times wrote an in-depth piece about the UK’s fraud crimewave and how no-one has been able to stop it.

Director Jonathan Hartley gave background information on the fraud epidemic.
We regularly appear in the media as we try and warn the public about the latest fraud and campaign for change.
We are always keen to emphasise that fraud is the fault of the fraudsters and not the victims.
The Times reported: “Scam victims tend to blame themselves, rather than the fraudsters, said Jonathan Hartley from Richardson Hartley Law, which specialises in fraud recovery. But this shame means that crimes go underreported.
And AI has helped to make scams more sophisticated. “We have every stratum of society falling victim to scams. If you think you are immune to it, you are probably in a really dangerous position, especially if you have money,” Hartley said.
“It is people with money and people who are desperate for money who are most in danger.”
We have seen a worrying increase in sophisticated UK-based investment scams which are Ponzi schemes that steal millions of pounds.
It is our belief that the Government needs to do more to protect its citizens from this fraud crimewave,
