What was the DTX Exchange trading platform?

The DTX Exchange claimed to be a modern trading platform that could help investors to make money.

The platform claimed to allow investors to trade stocks, crypto and forex all in one place and offered high returns for both sophisticated and novice investors.

To help attract users DTX Exchange offered low fees and promised guaranteed returns.

Introducers were paid good levels of commission to entice more people to use the platform.

However, signs that all was not right first emerged for many investors when they tried to withdraw their funds. They were suddenly met with a host of excuses as to why withdrawals were delayed, mainly around to system or technical failures.

As time went on the platform stooped allowing investors to access their funds altogether.

In November, 2024, the FCA issued a warning that investors should not deal with DTX Exchange and it website: dtxexchange.com.

In October, 2025, the police announced a number of arrests in connection to trading platforms, including DTX Exchange.

The other platforms that have been cited in regards to the arrests are

  • Intel Markets: intelmarkets.io
  • Cryptids: cryptidsgame.io
  • Algo Tech Trades: algotech.trade

Martin Richardson, senior partner at National Fraud Helpline, said: “It is good that the police have taken action.

“These trading platforms are incredibly sophisticated and convincing. We understand that millions of pounds were lost through these trading platforms.”
