Who Is Halcyon Retreat UK Limited?
Halcyon Retreat UK Ltd is a UK-registered company linked to the promotion and development of the Halcyon Retreat Golf & Spa Resort -a luxury holiday and property investment project in France.
The project was initially promoted as a 220-acre site with holiday homes for sale.
The website showcased how the development of the luxury golf and spa resort would evolve.
Investors were promised freehold ownership, guaranteed rents payments for ten years and no maintenance costs and part of a fully managed site.
The directors told investors they would receive a return of 9% or 10% each year.
However, concerns about the Halcyon Retreat started to emerge in 2025.
In the past year there has been increased anxiety amongst investors that they are not receiving their rental payments.
On Trustpilot multiple reviews have been left by investors saying that quarterly payments have been missed with many complaining that they have been told they will not receive further funds until the development is complete.
